Summer Steam Train
AMERICAN HISTORY STEAMS INTO LEBANON THIS AUGUST
Experience a historic train ride on the Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad behind a real working steam engine. This is a unique and exciting experience for children of all ages.
Traveling steam locomotive, Jeddo Coal #85, will haul trains on Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad for two weekends this August. It has been 5 years since a steam locomotive last visited Lebanon! This is a special event; be sure to mark your calendars.

You will travel through the country side of Warren County in Southwestern, Ohio. During your ride you can listen to our passenger conductors describe railroad history and operations.
Trains will follow the route of our Turtle Creek Valley Flyer between Lebanon and Hageman Junction.
The Summer Steam Train will feature Lackawanna coach seating. Concessions will not be available while on board during the Summer Steam Train.
In Lebanon passengers and the public will have the opportunity to view the steam locomotive cab.
On select days and departures, large parties have the option to rent our caboose (caboose seats up to eight people). The caboose will be available on the following dates:

Classes of Service
Lackawanna Coach Class
Coach passengers will be seated in our 1930’s restored Lackawanna coach cars. Our Lackawanna coach cars feature traditional railroad “walk-over” style seating. This allows families or groups of 4 to face each other. Coach seats are reserved. Our Lackawanna coach cars are heated and feature open windows. Fans circulate air on warmer days.

Caboose Rental: $300
Please be sure to dress for the weather! In the event of inclement weather, we recommend that our guests wear appropriate clothing such as boots and jackets.
All trains run rain or shine. Cancellations due to weather will only be made by the LM&M Railroad in extreme circumstances.
