TRAIN EXCURSION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

REFUND POLICY

Special Notes:

  • Please be sure to dress for the weather predicted on your reserved day of travel.  All boarding locations are outdoors.
  • Please ensure that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your departure time.  Our staff and conductors must ensure that the train leaves on time and cannot wait for late passengers.
  • All passengers are required to check in at the ticket office prior to boarding to retrieve your boarding card/tickets.  The ticket office is located at 16 East South Street, Lebanon, Ohio 45036.  Check in will begin 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.
  • Parking is on an off street parking basis.  There is a public lot that is free of charge on the corner of Mechanic Street and Main Street that is only a short walking distance to the train station.  We recommend you arrive to the train station 30 minutes prior to your departure time to ensure time for parking, traffic, and other unforeseen weather conditions.

Refund Policy-  All ticket sales are final

Additional fee- An additional $2 charge will be assessed in each ticket price.  This charge will be allocated to long-term operation and repair of the Lebanon Mason Monroe rail line.  The Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

  • No pets are permitted onboard the train
  • There is no outside alcohol allowed to be brought onboard the train

Seating- Please contact the ticket office direct at 513-933-8022 if you are meeting up with other reservations/people to ensure that your seating is reserved altogether and or within the same train car for your train ride.

  • Please note that “Reserved” seating is a reserved train car and reserved seats that you had selected for any particular train ride event.
  • General admission seating is a reserved train car that you will be assigned to, but are more than welcome to sit anywhere within that train car that you were assigned to.
  • All assigned seating and train car assignments will be on your boarding card that you retrieve at the ticket office at Will Call.
  • To ensue that all friends and family will be seated together in your group please contact the ticket office direct at 513-933-8022. Seating cannot be changed on the day of your reserved date.

Please Note* Due to the historic nature of our equipment, the LM&M Railroad is not handicapped accessible.  The LM&M Railroad operates historic equipment and reserves the right to change or substitute equipment as needed.

Some event trains will feature food and entertainment, which may include exposure to peanuts and latex balloons.

The LM&M reserves the right to cancel an event or train ride at any time for any reason it deems necessary.  In the unfortunate and rare cases that LM&M must cancel a train ride or event, guests will receive an email notification informing you of the cancellation.  Options for an exchange, or a credit voucher will be detailed in the email.

Prices are subject to change per event and on select “Peak” dates.

All tickets purchased are subject to additional fees. All ticket sales are final.

 

TICKET PURCHASE

By purchasing tickets to ride any The Cincinnati Railway Co./Cincinnati Scenic Railway/Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad/LM&M Railroad/Ohio Rail Experience train the passenger agrees to all terms and conditions listed herein.

No refunds or exchanges, exceptions may be made at the discretion of management. Limited exemptions apply. Trains will run rain or shine. The Cincinnati Railway Co./Cincinnati Scenic Railway/Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad/LM&M Railroad/Ohio Rail Experience reserves the right to cancel any train ride it deems necessary. You assume all risk and danger incidental to the train and/or related activities whether occurring prior to, during, or after any portion of the event/excursion. You assume all risk and danger of being injured by the train and its related activities, and you agree that the management, its agents/staff, performers, venues, related properties, etc. are not responsible or liable for any injuries resulting from such causes. Use of carry-on items, alcohol, food/drinks, etc. is at the discretion of management and may vary by event/excursion. Weapons of any kind are not allowed on the property or any related properties/venues at any time. You hereby consent to the reasonable search for alcoholic beverages, drugs, or weapons. You further consent to the use of your image or likeness incidental to any display, transmission, or reproduction of the event. Management reserves the right to refuse admission or reject any person under the influence of any substance, and/or whose conduct is deemed by management to be disorderly, or who fails to comply with the terms and conditions herein. In the event of a cancellation from the The Cincinnati Railway Co./Cincinnati Scenic Railway/Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad/LM&M Railroad/Ohio Rail Experience, and for which there is no rescheduled date, a refund for this ticket will be issued and may or may not include additional ticket fees (i.e. shipping fees, ticketing fees, etc.).

The Cincinnati Railway Co./Cincinnati Scenic Railway/Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad/LM&M Railroad/Ohio Rail Experience is not a common carrier railroad. Passengers are expected to read and understand our full policies, terms, and conditions.

Our excursions are operated by highly skilled professionals and your safety is our highest priority. The Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad requires passengers to exercise sound judgment when on railroad property and obey all crew member instructions.

All Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad trains are low priority movements on a busy regional freight railroad. Schedules are developed in good faith with our operating partners. However, due to circumstances beyond or within our control, trains can run late. Passengers will not receive refunds for late trains.

Some Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad excursions include a layover at a destination point. LM&M is not responsible for passengers missing trains, including on any return trip. If a passenger misses a return train, they are responsible for providing their own alternate form of transportation.

The Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad reserves the right to change equipment or cancel an event/train ride at any time for any reason it deems necessary.

All trains run rain or shine. Cancellations due to weather will only be made by the Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad in extreme circumstances.

Prices are subject to change without notification. All tickets purchased are subject to additional fees. Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad passengers are subject to all LM&M Railroad agreements and policies. Please note: The LM&M Railroad strictly enforces its refund policy.

The Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad is not a common carrier railroad. Passengers are expected to read and understand our full policies, terms, and conditions.

HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY

This trip will not be handicap accessible. Historic and antiquated rail passenger equipment, like that used on this excursion, is exempt from ADA regulations under U.S. Code: Title 42: Section 12184. The passenger cars and station facilities used on this excursion were constructed before disability accessibility laws were adopted. Platforms, boarding areas, stairs, step-boxes, seating, and especially doorways, passageways, aisles, and onboard restrooms may not accommodate all passengers. We will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate differently abled passengers who desire to ride the train. Motorized wheelchairs and/or scooters cannot be accommodated onboard our train.

The LM&M Railroad is not responsible for unsafe footing on property owned by third party organizations or created by situations beyond our control. Please watch your footing while loading and unloading from the train. The LM&M Railroad and its operating partners are not responsible for uneven footing on property owned by third party organizations or created by situations beyond our control. Please watch your footing while loading and unloading from the train. Passengers will have to ascend/descend up to ten (10) steps in order to ride a typical LM&M Railroad excursion train. The LM&M Railroad will provide step boxes and trained employees to assist will boarding/deboarding. However, passengers assume all liability and risk associated with boarding/deboarding the train. Do not purchase tickets to ride a LM&M Railroad train if you are unable to safely climb up to ten (10) stairs or walk extended distances up to five hundred (500) ft.

The LM&M Railroad welcomes trained dogs, cats, and miniature horses as service animals onboard our trains if the customer is able to provide credible verbal assurance that the animal is a trained service animal. The railroad does not accept unusual or exotic species of animals as solely determined by railroad management. Pets are not allowed onboard at anytime. Service animal owners must comply with the rules posted in our complete service animal policy.
